Very well run establishment
Have never stayed in a caravan cabin before. Our stay was excellent, and the cabin had everything that we needed. Big 4 had organised a Sunday roast that evening complete with entertainment, and it turned out to be a most enjoyable evening.

Excellent place to stay at. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. The pools are amazing and we highly recommend you visit the Big 4 Holiday park.

Very friendly staff, called to check our arrival time the afternoon before our arrival. Very clean spacious cabins. We stayed in May and it was very cold could have used a couple extra blankets. Otherwise a great stay. We would stay here again if we are ever back in charters.

Was passing through town so was just a bed for the night got there late and left early The property manager was great I stayed in a cabin which was ok.

Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The large fridge was great. Cabins are spaced out so you don't even know you have neighbours.

Cabin was a bit dated but it was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable and aircon working well, not noisy. Great for an overnight stop.

The fridge door seal was broken and therefore the fridge wouldn't close. Pretty annoying to have to prop it up with a chair. Other than that, our stay was fine.

This is a large park with a variety of options. The unit allocated to us was near the pool and the nearest of all the options to the highway, so it was a bit noisy. The main issue was that the remote control for the air conditioning was faulty and would not operate the unit, so we had a chilly start to our day of departure. The annoying aspect is that management were aware of the faulty remote but clearly were not checking it to make sure that it worked. I would have thought that a Hotels.com gold class member would be entitled to better service than we received.

Thank you for your review Kevin. I'm sorry the Studio Villa you booked was so close to the Highway and alittle noisy however all our Studio Villas are along that row on that side of the park. In regards to the faulty remote for the air conditioning I remember you telling me the a/c would turn on however you were unable to read the screen on the remote which indicated to me it was flat batteries as I said I've had that problem before. Batteries were replaced that morning rectifying the problem with the remote control. Best of travel's and stay safe.

I was visiting Charters Towers for work purposes, but I felt like I was on a mini holiday. Peaceful surrounds. I keep coming back here because it has everything I need in the room.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Emerald. There was a great welcome from Reception, with plenty of information if we needed it. Our cabin was very well appointed, fabulous facilities in the kitchen, great shower and very comfy bed. The pool looked very inviting, but we did not have time for a swim. Most Big 4 parks are good, this one was excellent, thanks very much

Charters Towers for a night.
We had a cabin and it was great. Comfy bed, nice and clean and all the equipment you could wish for. Perfect for us for the one night but we would be happy to stay longer if needed. Be good for a family too as the park had good facilities.

Lovely little studio cabin.
Lovely little studio cabin, very comfortable. The manager was very understanding when we had to cancel 2 nights as we needed to take my 91 year old father to hospital in Townsville. We were very grateful!
