"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. "Single night stop in transit. Close to autoroute, and easy to find. The room was spacious, but simple, with no additional amenities (e.g kettle). There is no lift in the hotel. We were on the top floor, which suffers a little from road noise, but not seriously bad. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Overall for this price point, it is a good hotel."

"Instead of a room in the Chateau Hotel I was allocated a stand alone cabin in the grounds, which was OK but drab and not what I booked. The cabin plain-pied was clean but initially very cold on entry. Shower head was broken. Parking outside was a positive feature. OK for a night and the room was clean and tidy, bathroom was clean and functional, but it was not a Chateau Hotel. It was a cabin. The restaurant however was charming downstairs in the cellar/cave and the food was good and not overly expensive. Service was fine. Wines were good. I would dine there again independently if I was local or in the area. I would hesitate to stay again. "
