Rhyne Park Village Trip

My first impression was disappointing. The check‑in attendants were not welcoming and did not provide clear instructions. Wayfinding around the resort was extremely difficult—signage was poor, staff directions were confusing, and you often had to walk outside the resort just to avoid getting lost. There was no entertainment or daytime activities for adults besides getting in the pool, which closed at 6 PM along with most of the resort. That is very early, especially for adults who expect amenities to remain open until 9 or 10 PM. The food was very commercialized with not enough authentic Jamaican options, and the dishes were consistently cold. Many drink mixes ran out. The ice cream, however, was delicious. The nightly entertainment at 9:30 PM required an additional fee, which was disappointing. The resort is also extremely far from excursions and other parishes. Transportation is tightly controlled, and outside taxis are discouraged. A trip as short as 7 miles cost $100 USD, and the resort did not seem helpful in protecting guests from being overcharged. It felt like transportation was being exploited. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but the overall experience felt secluded and lacking in quality food and activities. I would not recommend staying here unless you specifically enjoy isolation and do not care about having great dining options. There were a few standout staff members who made the stay better: Channelath from Guest Experience — amazing

Loved everything about this resort.

Nice stay
