Very interesting property. Beautiful location on a lake with mountains all around. Do take out a canoe, as it's a gorgeous view from the lake, and lovely clean water for a swim. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I've been wanting to stay at this hotel for many years. I loved that you can go to the ghost town as often as you want with your stay. You get 50% off. The restaurant serves good food. The hotel is a bit outdated but I felt it had charm and would go back. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There is no AC but a fan is in your room. A bit noisy with the highway but didn't bother me much.

Awesome location and history and the “vibe” for this family run business is a 10 out of 10. It’s an older building which may bring down the overall rating but I’m looking forward to visiting again next summer and continuing to explore the area from there.
