"We stayed at the La Folie Douce Hotel while Chamonix was mobbed by ultra athletes competing in the 2024 UTMB ultra marathon, so the room prices were sky-high. We paid much to much for a very small dormitory style room. The hotel was clean an well maintained, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel if the price was acceptable."

"The spa is wonderfully relaxing after a long drive and for a while we had it all to ourselves. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. "Very good location , spacious room. Only down side is the toilet, it was small and separated ( in another room) from the shower and basin. I did not like the pillows. But I guess this is personal preference. The room is very clean. And the lady who cleans the room daily tidy it very well. The receptionists are very cooperative and friendly. In summary I recommend the hotel. "

"This place has a great friendly vibe. The rooms are modern and clean. Love the towel warming rack for drying laundry. They offer free secure luggage storage if you are heading out on the TMB.
