Best Western Premier Hotel Astoria

"This is my 4th or 5th stay in this hotel. I love it as it is really comfortable, clean and perfectly positioned to the train and bus stations, lower town and a beautiful upper town. I did request a twin room this time as travelling with my sister but the beds were joined into double bed and we had a double size sheet binding the beds together so we couldn't really separate them. The hotel serves really good breakfast and there was a really friendly young waiter ( I think his name was Luka ) compliments to him as he was really helpful and smiling at all times. However I did find that some Swedish tourists were quite rude and pushy during the breakfast. Still, I would happily stay here again as it is my favourite hotel in Zagreb."

"My second time staying at Antunovic,and it’s been great . It’s in a fantastic location, with shops restaurants walking distance … if you need to go to centre , bus and trams there are only a few minutes walk .Rooms are quite spacious . I didn’t use the spa , hopefully next time ..restaurant staff is pleasant , so is the bar staff - uptop at vertigo gives you quite a view , downstairs at Bulle nice relaxed atmosphere with very lovely and quick staff. Lucija restaurant was a different experience for me but I liked it , friendly staff there as well . All and all I really like the hotel and the location and if they add a gym , I don’t think I’d ever choose to stay anywhere else as much as I enjoy other hotels in Zagreb 😊💗"

"Very helpful staff, good breakfast, room good but too warm for me , could not reduce myself, reception can do this on your behalf on their system. Sink soap difficult to squeeze out ok in shower. Area fine 40 -45 mins away from centre by tram, Rowing lake 15m walk away. Tesla's smart bar about 12 mins away before there 5 mins away about 4 bars. Zagreb fine safe not many sites to see but vibrant cafe society. Theme bars very popular some of note orient Express bar, Tolkien's House Mr Fogg & especially Beertija, good music bar Vintage Industrial Bar about 3k from hotel on metro to city centre. Eating Pod Zidom upish market & Kai Street Food cheaper & more basic but surprisingly much better wine & 25% cheaper"

"The hotel was anout a 1-2 hour from downtown Zagreb The hotel staff were very friendly. The restaurant on site for our dinner meal was very good. The only question I would have is why there are kitchen facilities in the room but no dishes ? There was no AC in our room so it was warm to sleep. When we opened the window it was a bit noisy as the hotel is in more of an industrial area"

"Hotel was nice with a reasonable breakfast. Hotel is located in a very good location but was not easy to find because of construction around it. Tried to call the hotel but got whatever reason no one answered the calls. Otherwise location was great."

"Staff are great and very kind. The food are fresh and high quality. There are 2 water park and you can use them all the day. In addition the hotel has a separate outdoor and indoor swimming pools with hot top. You can smoke and drink outside and staff are very nice and flexible. The location is great and beautiful"
