Staff were incredible so this review is not on them. There has not been enough investment in amenities and systems in this resort. While we were there we had no working tv the entire time, our bathtub did not work, and we were not able to make reservations for restaurants until we arrived. This meant that we were not able to get reservations for several of the nights we were there. When we went to leave the resort we were told that in order to call an uber we would need to pay a taxi to take us to the front gate (which was over a mile from where the resort is on the property) and they couldn’t take us in the shuttle they have because it is against policy. It made us feel like we were trapped on the property. We normally like to explore nearby towns but this made it feel impossible so we didn’t get to see any of the surrounding areas

Magnificent ocean view , close to theater and museum areas. 5 mins drive from historic colonial area. Great value for money. Only issue was crossing the street to walk near beach. Traffic is so congested you may never cross due to lack of lights and crosswalks. Also the beach in the area isn’t well ...
