Don't go to sri Lanka without going here

The best place we stayed in during our 2 week trip to sri Lanka. Extended our stay and pushed all our other booking back an extra night it was so good. Peaceful waves crashing on shore all day as you sit back by the pool or enjoy top class service of the 2 guys running the place. Tucked away from the main road is difficult to find but makes it all the better being secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would recommend friends from back home to fly to sri Lanka just to stay here . Keep up the good work guys

Direkt am Strand

Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen, Palmen gesäumten und überraschenderweise sehr sauberen Sandstrand. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und mit einem Moskitonetz ausgestattet. Auch das Bad ist sehr groß und gut belüftet. Besonders gefallen hat mir die eigene Terrasse mit einem Tagesbett und einem Ventilator darüber. WLAN funktioniert sowohl im Zimmer als auch auf der Terrasse und dem Restaurant. Das Zimmer wird nur sauber gemacht, wenn man das entsprechende Schild außen an die Tür hängt. Beim Frühstück konnte man wählen zwischen continentel und Sri Lankan breakfast. Auch ansonsten war das Essen gut ebenso wie der Service. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Schönes Hotel, das sich direkt ...

...am endlosen Strand befindet. Wir haben 1 Woche hier verbracht und uns von der Ruhe des Ortes anstecken lassen. Nebenan befinden sich noch ein paar Hotels, in denen man auch essen gehen kann - das haben wir allerdings nicht ausprobiert. Bis nach Tangalle fährt man mit dem TukTuk etwa 15-20 Minuten. Wer also Besorgungen machen möchte, kann das relativ schnell tun. Bars, Kneipen... findet man in Tangalle und auch rings um das Hotel kaum. Für Ruhesuchende ist es absolut perfekt.

Wonderful stay -fab service and friendly staff -good food .great pool and surrounding garden right on the beach. Couldn't get a better spot to soak up the sun and relax.

Gorgeous beach

My husband and I stayed at Lanka beach bungalows for 3 days and overall it was a very nice experience. The bungalows are clean and nice and each one has its own patio or balcony. The pool is great and you are right on a beautiful, practically deserted beach. The food was very good as well, I'd recommend the seafood platter or fish slices! There were only a few things we had an issue with..1. The phone number we had for the hotel was wrong and we couldn't get a hold of anyone at the hotel or find the number online so it was pretty troublesome getting there. The owners, a german couple, were both friendly and introduced themselves but when we informed the husband about our trouble getting there because the phone number was wrong he didnt seem too bothered about it or offer any apologies for the trouble. Also, we asked the owner about going to the sea turtle conservation project just down the beach, he informed us he had a special deal with a guy there and they would pick us up between 9-12 that night. Noone ever came, we couldn't find the owner after 9 and the workers didnt seem to want to help us. We never got to see the seaturtles and I left a bit upset we never got an explanation or apology for this. All in all it is a very nice place to stay, but I'd suggest just going to see the sea turtles on your own and not booking through the hotel.
