Muito boa estadia. O único senão tem a ver com a televisão, dado que o sinal é TDT na maioria do tempo de estadia não funcionava e quando funcionava estava restrita a 6 canais.

Just like home

We had an amazing time at Monsaraz. We’re glad we were able to find this perfect little place to our stay. The owner was so nice, made us feel like home. The hotel is clean, well-located and beautiful. Definitely gonna stay again next time we visit Alentejo.

Uma supresa muito agradável. Marquei a última da hora mas fiquei muito satisfeita. Aconselho a qualquer pessoa . O Sr Sérgio muito simpático sempre disponível e preocupado se estavamos a gostar e se era preciso alguma coisa.O pequeno almoço muito bom .Enfim nada a apontar. Mas sim com vontade voltar em breve. Recomendo

Not for me

Unfortunately for the price paid, there was nothing special about this place. I have stayed in a 2* which offered more. And at100 euros a night its disappointing. The owner was extremely pleasant, but needs to increase the comfort and take note. On website there was a bar, but never opened, tv chanels in the room only 5! No no drinks ie like a bottle of water promised with room, had to drink from bathroom tap. Internet stopped at midnight and only came on in yhe morning. Never tried the pool, as it has no steps, only a metal ladder. Breakfast very simple. Staff also pleasant. The daily cleaning of befoom never happened, so towels etc never changed. Unfortunately i will not be wasting my money again with this stay.

Intressant gård med musei karaktär

Mycket intressant boende i stor gammal gård med mängder med gamla prylar, som på ett museum. Ägaren var mycket trevlig och berättade om gårdens historia. Där fanns en åsna och många katter (utomhus) och många får betade på fälten utanför. Frukosten var utmärkt men vid vår vistelse, sent på säsongen serverades ingen middag. Vi rekommenderade en restaurang i en en gammal ombyggd olivpress fabrik ca 1 km därifrån. Mycket bra - Lunch och middag. Den mycket intressanta gamla staden Monzaras (ej att förväxla med Reguenos de Monsaraz) ligger på berg några km från Monte Alerta.

Amazing experience.

Excellent place. Interesting and tastefully decorated rooms. Lovely breakfast. Host very helpful. Garden and pool area are fantastic lots of places to sit and relax. Located in the dark sky area, skies were amazing with plenty of out door space and comfort to watch them. Very close to Monsaraz and river beach area. Would have liked to have stayed longer would definitely return.

me gusto la ubicación, vistas, estado de conservación, decoración, amplitud de las habitaciones, el personal, servicial y amabilísimo, el dueño Sergio es un tio fenomenal. Por poner un pero, solo los colchones de las camas no me han gustado, muy duros para mi gusto, pero comprendo que eso va en costumbres. En resumen estancia de 10 sobre 10.

An exceptional location, an enjoyable property

When we arrived we were told, "this is our home, it has been for 8 generations, please feel it is yours", and it was. A rambling Portuguese farm house, it was exquisitly decorated from around the world and back in time. Even in late fall the gardens and courtyard still had blooms. But the quality of accomodations and exquisite cleanliness were a background for the staff and owners who were always a step ahead of our needs. Of course we wanted to see Monsaraz and the surrounding area, but we also wanted some time to rest, read, and do some business on the Internet, we found it all here. I do hope we have the opportunity to return - perhaps in spring when flowers cover the hills.

Nice agritourism hotel

This hotel is only a few minutes from Monsaraz a beautiful place to visit in Alentejo Portugal. The swimming pool and surrounding gardens are very nice. The room was comfortable but not more and the bathrooms was very clean! . Breakfast was adequate. We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Alerta

This hotel was wonderful- a peaceful spot a few minutes from the hilltop town. We enjoyed the sheep grazing around the perimeter, and wish we had more time to relax by the pool. A historic home with modern, clean conveniences.
