"Our room was very clean. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The owner spoke to us for a while, and could tell that he works hard to maintain clean and pleasant accommodations. We were able to enjoy the beautiful evening on the rocking lawn chairs provided outside our door. We would definitely book here again, if we are in the area! 5/5"
"Dede was welcoming, the lighthouse room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was large. The breakfast was unexpected (I didn’t recall reading that) and fantastic. The rooms are on the second floor so you do have to haul luggage up stairs. Also, Expedia had no mention of air conditioning so I called the facility, and they do indeed have AC! The only thing I would add are more outlets by the bed. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again."
"Apart from the location which is handy to downtown I have nothing good to say about the property. In fact it's hard to know where to start. The building has had no upgrades since it was constructed some 35 years ago. None. Zero. The elevator smelled like hydraulic fluid. The (original carpet) was duct taped together on both the third and fourth floors. I had to run the water in the shower for 15 minutes before it got hot. The shower head was an original something. It sprayed water everywhere...
"What a beautiful house and great staff, met us at the door gave us a great tour, owner was very responsive and an absolute delight to do business with. If you’re looking somewhere to stay in the Alexandria Bay Area I highly suggest this place! Clean comfy quiet beautiful property. Added bonus is right on a golf coarse also!"
