"Bare with me, this may start off poorly, but it gets better.
Initially, when we arrived at the property, we felt disappointed. The outside of the property looks really run-down. Scaffolding, dirty white paint. Just tired and old. Like a neglected school.
However, once inside things improve, massively. I found it warm and inviting. Staff are friendly and helpful. Everything looks in a good statenof repair etc.
The room we stayed in was large with a lovely bath and a sea view. Bed was overly firm, but everything else was lovely. No snacks in the room, there was cold milk and water in the fridge.
The bar area is nice. Lots of seating, free pool table, good selection of drinks and an outside area.
The spa was lovely (have to book between 10am and 6pm) with large hot tub, seating, sauna, steam room and a hammam (recommend). Decent size swimming pool also available.
Good location for the coast path, Mawgan Porth is lovely, though not much in the way of shops.
Continental breakfast was epically good. Lots of choice, amazing baked goods, made on site and good coffee. If you want a cooked breakfast as well, its £8. Didn't have myself, but looked amazing.
Did eat in what i think is The Wild Café. Prices are not cheap, but i suppose thats pretty standard for a hotel restaurant. Burger and chips is £24, as is wild mushroom risotto. We had a croque monsieur and a side of fries, which came to £18 each. delicious, lots of filling and great chips.
I can't say more as I've run ou"
