"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wildes Restaurant was very enjoyable for breakfast and dinner. Just a couple of criticism, the breakfast order of eggs benedict was served on toasted sour dough which was very difficult to cut through and chew and spoiled the enjoyment of it. I believe that traditional English muffins are a better choice to serve eggs benedict on. Although the rack of lamb was beautifully cooked it still required a steak knife to cut it , but this was not provided. Disappointed with our lunch in the bar area. Beef fat chips were horrible, the fish batter and fish was overcooked. Found the very noisy pipe hammer in our bedroom every morning between 5 a.m and 6 a.m. to be very alarming and annoying. The bar dining area furniture was looking tired and not very clean."

"Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"God awful. If I hadn’t prepaid for two nights, I would not have stayed any after seeing the room. Hard to believe. A new lowfor me staying anywhere and I travel a lot internationally. "

"Deirdre and Greg were very nice, attentive and helpful. Especially when our son’s car couldn’t get past a fallen tree in the storm and Greg’s local knowledge helped him get around it! Great breakfast and loved the tea, coffee and cake available anytime."

"We had a beautiful waterview room. The room was beautiful. I only wish we had more time! The falcon walk with Collin and Mary was more than we hoped for. It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room. The front desk did all our reservations before we arrived. We are looking forward to a return trip!"
