"Came in after traveling all day and the room was over 90° took hours to cool down. I was looking forward to a shower after a long day and the shower was completely disgusting. Covered in layers of visible gunk, so much so the build up started flaking off. Even running the shower water would’ve cleaned it more than it probably has been cleaned in multiple visits. The shower walls were smeared with something black and the faucet was covered in yellow. So I did not shower. Spilled a little water on the floor and used a washcloth to wipe it up. The washcloth came up black. Dead roach in room. And the ice machine didn’t work when I had brought a cooler food with me, which was unfortunate. Saw other reviews that stated the cleanliness of this place, that is why I chose it. I don’t know if it was only this room that had been skipped over, but this is the dirtiest hotel experience I have had. I wanted to share my experience because that’s my only priority and I felt mislead. I was staying there for less than 12 hours and came in late. I had carried multiple bags up, and wanted a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again. Next time I will drive another hour or two for another spot or sleep in my car because I can’t believe I spent money on that. I will say the front desk staff was very friendly and I don’t blame them for my dirty room. they do have a complementary breakfast (I only got a coffee, scared of how clean the kitchen was) "

"It is a nice little hotel, convenient for what we needed, (a night to be able to rest, get up early the next day and leave). The stuff were very friendly and helpful. I would Not recommended it for a long stay nor for a family vacation. The area is not great, the hotel needs some upgrades, the carpets specially need to be changed. Also, you can’t get a hold of anyone after they close the lobby, you are kind of on your own after they leave."

"The only contact I had with staff was through a small bank teller type window while I remained outside. The first thing the clerk demanded was a fifty dollar cash deposit. I guess that should have been my notice this was not the kind of place you would visit with family. The motel looks like something from an old 1960 movie set. The room entrance door had a strong spring which would prevent a child from escaping in an emergency. The floor felt sticky and a few of the light switches did nothing. The shower/tub was dripping, and I could not stop it. The sliding door at the back of the room could not open, and it was covered by cloth , but half of the door was covered by a sheet of plywood. When I arrived around 3 in the afternoon, there were more cars in the parking lot than when I returned shortly after 10 pm. Maybe the hotel clients are hourly guests. I should have known better than to book outside a major hotel chain."
