"We did not stay. It was not as advertised and did not appear safe. There was no one there to admit you to the hotel and it had permanent residents in most of the rooms. From just a few days before the stay, there were MANY calls trying to get us to give them information. Total scam!!"

"We stayed in one of the historic cottages at the park. The room was very nice and comfortable. Only issue was the size of the bed. Website stated the room had a queen bed, but at best, this was actually a full. Staff was very friendly and professional. We appreciated the restaurants onsite at the lodge, so no real need to leave the park for anything. The camp store in the park was well stocked, a bit overpriced, but that was expected. I would highly recommend staying at the park and would definitely recommend reservations if planning to do any of the cave tours."

"Extremely well run Hampton Inn. Breakfast was very good. Awesome ice cream place nearby, with several good restaurants in literal walking distance. I will be coming back if I visit the Mammoth Cave area again."
