This hotel was outstanding: a very large room with a separate sitting area, a very large bathroom with a great shower, lovely people at the front desk, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The only reasons for giving it 4 rather than 5 stars was noise and privacy. I don’t know if every room had the same problems, but ours (36) was on street level. I was constantly aware that people walking by might be able to look in and by 5:30 am I could already hear people walking by and talking. Furthermore, the entire area is completely under construction and by 7 am the work began.

I had a lovely stay. Hotel is dated but spotless and comfortable. Room was good size with comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast is fantastic, European style with good variety, excellent coffee, and fresh honeycomb, which is a first for me. Patrick and the rest of the staff made it feel like home, and I could easily walk to everything from restaurants to tourist sites.

Hotel near charming town center
After some initial difficulty finding the hotel, we were welcomed and got a decent room. Breakfast was good. Ambiance favored small conference groups. Great small town center to wander through and use services in was close by.

Great location near the airport
The hotel is close to the Düsseldorf Airport. From there you can catch a direct flight to Fort Myers in Florida on Airberlin. A great flight.

Good for small trips into Ratingen
The national pillow of Germany is mushy and flat. After six different hotels, I don't expect it to improve. Beyond this, the hotel is clean, economical and close to restaurants and shops. Rooms are small but functional. Bathroom is generous size for the room and price. Breakfast is basic, but tastes good.

Excellent location, easy access to public transportation and taxi. Nearby businesses and restaurants. Quiet section of town. Very clean and quiet. Good resting time. Excellent breakfast nice and clean.

Pleasantly surprised.
Hotel staff was kind and welcoming even at my late 11 pm check in. Room was clean and surprisingly more updated than most hotels in the area. Breakfast was great. I was impressed with how attentive the staff was during breakfast - constantly replenishing food offerings.

I missed a refrigerator in the room and if you come late in de evening to the hotel you can not park the car. Also there was not a watercooker and cofee or thee in the room. But all the other thing were good.

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die alten ausgefransten Handtücher hätte ich keinem Gast mehr angeboten. Das Frühstück ist OK, aber speziell bei den Brötchen ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Das Personal allerdings ist sehr freundlich und zugänglich. Eine Anfrage für eine Verlängerung unseres Aufenthaltes für eine weitere Nacht wurde ganz unkompliziert gelöst.

Eenvoudig, prima hotel, heel schoon en netjes, goed bed, nette prijs, goed ontbijt. Wel beetje kaal, het kan iets gezelliger gemaakt worden. Wij logeerden hier om naar het vliegveld te gaan. Voor dit doel een perfect hotel.

Das Hotel liegt äußerst verkehrsgünstig. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Für diesen Preis ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, auf Wegwerfverpackungen wird weitestgehend verzichtet. Der einzige Wermutstropffen war die Parksituation, die aber in der Baustelle vor der Haustüre begründet liegt. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Das Hotel liegt nur 3min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, frisch gepresster Organgensaft und ein frisches Spuegelei runden es ab. Alles ist sauber, der Service ist sehr gut. Uns hat es gefallen.
