"This is a cute place to stay but a bit dated. It is dog friendly and it was lovely to see so many furry friends enjoying a trip! We stayed in a building round the back which had some quirky wallpaper but needed an upgrade. Interesting rules around breakfast which were explained in terrifying detail by staff who had been well briefed - "You have 30 minutes from when you enter until you must leave, and you can have one hot drink refill". That was a bit much, but we complied!"

"The lifts are broken in this hotel. You have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to reception. Then more flights of stairs to get to your room. If you are disabled or have heavy luggage this is not the hotel for you. Security is very lax at night. You can open the main doors without a key card as the locks are taped over. The sink plug hole was disgustingly dirty. On a plus’s side the rest of the room was clean. The hole in the wall was a nice touch. The paper covering the door spy hole was also a different design feature. I would not go back to this hotel until the lifts and security doors are fixed"
