Great location, friendly people and all good size apartment with useful utilities. Easy to get to Interlaken and thun and all surrounding areas. Would recommend

Hotel was good overall. Biggest downside is the traffic noise outside which was non stop. You need the windows open to cool the place down and it was just so loud so sleeping was not great. A fan would have been a nice option. Grocery right across the street and also extremely close to the bus stop, very handy!! Also a 1-2 minute walk to an amazing pier side restaurant - excellent option for sunset and cocktails!

Pay little more and stay somewhere else
This was the worst place I stayed in for my 20 days trip. The check in time was at 5pm which was way to late and the check out time was 10am which is very early compared to the check in time. The property was not maintained well, had water leaks and crooked floors in the bathroom, broken handle, broken window panes. Broken countertop in the kitchen, broken chair & table in the dining. Spider webs and dirt all around the house. No fan available when it was more than 80* outside. Small stairs to take stuff up and down the house, everything was old and unmaintained. I got to the property early and asked if I could check in early and the owner replied after 2 hours and said it is not possible, and the care taker was still cleaning the apartment 1.5 hour past the check in time - so I got access to the property at 6:30pm. After complaining to Hotels.com, they reached out to the owner a few times but they wouldnt reply to compensate me for the delay. I sent them an email as well but no reply. So be cautious if you are booking here.

I loved the fact the property is right near the lake's ferry stop. You have the bus stop , grocery stop and some nice restraunts near by.

The location is amazing. The castle is visible (partially) from 2 of the windows. There is a great little cafe on the water a stone's throw away, gorgeous gardens and a walking path along the lake. The apartment itself is basic. If you are a big person, the bathroom and "kitchen" will not do. No extras at all. Bring your own soap, shampoo, tissues, coffee pods... Parking is best done up the road at the parking garage. Cost is about $13 USD for an overnight.

We loved the location. The place was difficult to find as the house number is very small. We would’ve enjoyed a top sheet and one large duvet instead of two small duvets. The bells all night though not in control of the property owners made for a not good sleep. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the kitchen with exception of the coffee maker and oven not operational. The shower had great hot water.
