"Our room was quite dark, we didn’t get much daylight from the window and the lighting was dim. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We couldn’t understand why we had a shoe shine kit, small soap and small shampoo but no shower gel? As a couple travelling light we had assumed there would be some supplied. "We stayed here before starting our hike on The Pieterpad, as it is right across the street. The room was sparse, but clean. The lighting was extremely dim - I could not read my book! The bedside lamps had yellow bulbs in them, and the ceiling fixture was also dim. The food in the adjoining cafe was good, and breakfast had everything we wanted."

"Wonderful, quirky boutique hotel. We arrived late due to traffic. We’d booked Blume for dinner and they still seated us and gave us the most wonderful meal. The quality and flavours were on a par with Under restaurant in Lindesnes where we ate last week and is Michelin rated. Service was very good. Breakfast was good also. Location is central, so walkable to everything Groningen has to offer. Bit of a walk from the parking garage."

"My first capsule/pod experience. Very clean, safe, and nice staff. Bathroom was updated, clean, modern, and was simply amazing and fancy for a hostel. Loved that ppl had left a decent selection of shower products for others to use, as well as books. It was low season, with just a few ppl in the room, but for some reason they placed us all side by side. I suggest you ask to be placed away from others to not hear them banging their knees and feet on a shared wall throughout the night - and bring ear plugs. The room was quiet but you could still hear every tiny sound anyone made. With that said, I would definitely return again. "

"This is a very cute hotel. It is older and thus has some older facilities. Our transactions with the staff were friendly and efficient. We definitely felt welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. No frills but everything we needed it to be. As in many older hotels, the shower was small but adequate. My wife and I jokingly called it the "cruise ship shower." It is in a very convenient location to walk to the Martini tower or the Groninger Museum. Lots of dining options and near by grocery stores. The breakfast the offer has breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit and some cereals. I'd certainly stay here again. We had a lovely time. "
