"The waterfront has beautiful friendly staff and is located in an ideal area close to the main town. The property itself is clean just probably needs a bit of an update in terms of the bathroom (wear and tear mostly loose fittings and cracked stained tiles) and in room furniture (very outdated and chair was rusty). Curtains probably need a good wash too. If you’re looking for something reasonably priced and in a great location it’s perfect. The breakfast is nice and towels and sheets are very clean. I would absolutely visit again."

"The apartment was good for our needs. But my friend felt unsafe as the bathroom window safety screan was partially damaged the fly sceen was off. Mould in the showers. Lots of mould, not just a little. There was Mould on the ceiling about a foot round with a 5cm hole. And cement in the window frame which made it hard to open/close the window. Dirty doors. No toilet roll holder. Shower hose was spraying everywhere except on my body. We decided to stay because, better the devil you know than the devil you don't. The staff were so lovely. Apparently the rooms were being renovated. But we where charge full price. No shampoo or conditioner available. "

"Lai was a great host and looked after us well. He cooked lovely dinners and told us about the local walks and even played the guitar for us. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming in the river and patting the cat. Just note that during our visit the wifi wasn’t working and we found the bed uncomfortable. Also, take cash to pay for your meals."
