The hotel was a little hard to find but when we did we were welcomed with a lovely smile from the receptionist. This is a delightful hotel run by local people and every staff member was very friendly and warm with the smiles. We used this hotel as a base while we explored Machu Picchu. This meant that we could leave our large rucksacks at the hotel while we travelled on to Agua Calientes. When we returned the whole town was in darkness as they were experiencing a power cut.
