"Vi har booket 3 værelser i samme reservation, og bliver fordelt over hele hotellet (Værelser: 301, 311, 409). Værelse 311 havde en gennemtrængende stank af klor, så det var nødvendigt med længere udluftning, hvilket naturligvis medfører et koldt værelse. Møblement på værelserne 3xx er for spartansk, der mangler aflægningsplade - eller blot en knagerække. Det var ikke muligt at få aftensmad til en vegetar. "

"Wonderful staff! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The castle was decked out for Christmas and it looked lovely! We really enjoyed looking around the castle and our room was lovely. "

A hotel with an ethos - to quote their website " We create jobs for people who are outside the traditional labour market but want meaningful and stimulating employment, on their terms and with a focus on inclusion. " It showed in the care they took at the front desk for guests. Due to a problem with my phone I had not received the text I should, but was treated very politely and very warmly when I arrived after check in time. it definitely doesn't have the corporate feel, but nor a B&B feel - just a small business with a good heart feel. The room was comfortable (single with bathroom). I had been concerned that since there was a busy restaurant the evening might be noisy but in my room I could not hear any of the restaurant noise. Single bed was very comfortable. The room decor is in keeping with the heritage of the hotel and recently refurbished. Lovely and clean. Breakfast the next morning was simple (range of choice narrow) but what there was extremely tasty. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a (slow) car charger in the car park even though I had not seen it on any map. I would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Bad experience would not use again. On opening the door it was clear that the room had not been cleaned after the previous occupant - bed in total disarray. I tried two different phone numbers - first the one on the door saying to use it there is a problem with the door code. Second that at the bottom of the text the owner sent earlier in the day. Both went through to a prerecorded message of no use. I ended up having to find somewhere else for the night. "

"I came to walk beaches and fossil hunt. This hotel was located perfectly for me for taking trips out each day from the hotel. The breakfast was amazing."
