The Vicarage Geraldine

"The Vicarage at Geraldine was absolutely amazing and the perfect place to stay. We stayed for two nights and couldnโt have asked for a more comfortable or welcoming experience. Our ground-floor room was directly opposite the beautiful communal space, which was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It really felt like an extension of our room and was such a lovely space to relax in. The room itself was beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly loved all the thoughtful little touches that made the stay feel extra special. We had breakfast at Barkerโs, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight. The staff were wonderful too. We met two different members of the team during our stay, one each day, and both were incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The Vicarage has such a lovely atmosphere and attention to detail, and we would happily stay here again. A real gem in Geraldine!"

"I made a mistake with the booking date, and the host was great at helping me change it. Good location if visiting family in Temuka. Rooms are a bit cold (not unusual for NZ buildings - poor insulation is the norm for older buildings in NZ). The motel provides heaters in each room, which helped. Across the street from Night & Day dairy, good for snacks and supplies. A good option in the small town of Temuka if you dont want to trek from Timaru or Geraldine."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Whare. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the decor was beautiful. It was also extremely well equipped with everything we might need for our stay. Annie our host left us with a very generous and delicious hamper for breakfast, we would highly recommend it."
