This was a family friendly stay in a great location near a popular waterfall with access to the south coast attractions. The cottage was well equipped for a family of 4 with a kitchen and nice linens and great blackout shades. There were no instructions for the TV or washer so we struggled with those. The communion could have been better- we didn’t receive the check in email prior to arriving and the check in time says it closed at 4 pm in English on Expedia, but the welcome email actually said check in was after 4. It was confusing. Overall we had a great stay and the directions to the cottage were clear.

We absolutely LOVED this cottage. Definitely our favorite of all the places we stayed in Iceland. The house was cosy and clean. The location was beautiful and we even came home one day to sheep in the front yard :). Can't recommend it enough.

Sehr schönes Cottage in ruhiger Lage und mit tollem Ausblick. Es war alles da, was man braucht und sehr sauber. Uns hat vor allem auch gefallen, dass es eine Waschmaschiene mit Trockner gibt. Der Kontakt zum Host war nur per Mail aber trotzdem hat er uns sehr gut geholfen und unterstützt. Einziges kleines Manko: Das Doppelbett ist höchstens 1,40 Meter breit, bzw. sehr schmal, um zu zweit darauf zu schlafen.
