Our stay at this Best Western was mediocre at beat. The WiFi was slow to the point of being unusable and the hotel staff were unapologetic when this was brought to their attention. The aesthetics of the room were disappointing due to the multitude of paint touch ups. Sound insulation is also poor so beware snoring from neighbouring rooms. The free electric charging (9 kW) however, was an unexpected plus.

Hello Mr Adam,The entire team would like to apologize for not having met your expectations.Regarding the wi-fi connection, no feedback of dissatisfaction with the connection has been given to us except by you today but we obviously apologize to you.As for the paint touch-ups, we actually make sure to maintain the hotel as we go along without being able to close all the rooms for sale at the same time to completely redo the paintings.The sound insulation defect that you encountered is probably due to the fact that you occupied a communicating room. We will enter in your customer file the wish, when possible, to assign you a non-communicating room in the future.It is with great pleasure that we put the electrical terminals at your service and are delighted that you like it.Hoping to see you again.Sincerely

This hotel is brand new and so the satnav had great difficulty in finding it, but perseverance paid off. The room was smallish but fine and the bed was really good - a rarity in French hotels! The reception was excellent and the restaurant was way beyond our expectations - lovely staff and super food. This is a really convenient stopover spot for heading to and from France via Calais.

Nice hotel and staff. Unfortunately for the third time the restaurant was not available, due to a large coach party. Restaurant booked a week before arrival and cancelled two days before we arrived.

Always a pleasure to stay here but find it very strange that a big hotel, which was very busy on the Monday evening has a closed restaurant on Mondays! What a missed opportunity. When one has been on the road for 11 hours you don't really feel like getting back in the car to seek a restaurant.

Everything from check in to check out was excellent. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spotless, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, dinner in the evening couldn’t be faulted and breakfast the following morning was more than adequate with plenty of choice. We would definitely use again.

Very nice hotel. bed a little hard. Could really use a night light in bathroom. No cotton washcloths. Not use to showering without one.

Good location for an overnight syop
An excellent hotel for an overnight stay on the way to the dordogne . Clean, modern, friendly and attentive staff. English spoken if needed. Convenient for the tunnel . We have booked in for the return journey but were disappointed to find out that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings.

The hotel is only a couple of years old and is in immaculate condition. The rooms are large and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and efficient - they also introduced us to a very pleasant local French whisky! Overall, a very pleasant break in our journey and a worthy place to revisit.

Excellent modern hotel
Modern, clean hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent. The room was large and comfortable with good size bathroom. The only small issue was the room heating was not very good and we were not able to change. The bathroom however had a nice heated towel rail.

Reassuring and efficient
A reassuring stay during the pandemic. All precautions taken and meals available in the room meant we could support the restaurant. Extremely clean hotel.
