Good location and a good price overall. The staff seemed a little short-handed during check-in. After checkout, they can hold your bags for $2, which was convenient. Skinos, the restaurant attached to the hotel, is a very popular spot with good drinks and a nice birthday dessert. Unfortunately, the door connecting the restaurant to the hotel was locked because it was broken. The first-floor lighting could also use some dusting/cleaning. My biggest issue was the elevators. Only one elevator was working from the first floor to the lobby, and then you have to switch to a different elevator to get to your room. Because of that, check-in and checkout can get crowded and frustrating. Overall, though, it was a decent stay for the price.

The Night Hotel is overall a nice place to stay. It is in a great location and the prices are good for a stay in NYC. It is a bit dated and the room (Gold King Bed) was pretty much just the bed and small writing desk. If you are looking for a solid spot for just sleeping and leaving in the morning, this is your place. If you were planning on spending extended periods of time in your room, I might try elsewhere. The biggest highlight was the staff, very pleasant to interact with, making you feel welcome.

Tempted to gatekeep but it’s truly such a lovely spot, great location, friendly staff, the only place we love to stay in Manhattan!
