I enjoy this area and hotel when i come in town to visit my family. The rooms are always clean and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate the value and service they offer. My dogs enjoy it too
The staff does a good job of maintaining the property. It is in walking distance of the shopping center and many restaurants. The price is reasonable and the place was quiet. The staff is always kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stays there.
The room and hallway had a funky smell. There was cracking on the ceiling. The toilet was not firmly attached to the floor and the toilet seat moved. We had limited contact with staff. Parking was fine. Plenty of shopping nearby. We would not stay here again.

Me and my son love the location. The only problem that we had was with the room. It smelled like pure mildew there was mold in the wall but it keeps getting painted over so you can tell where the dark discoloration is the bed was clean but very squeaky but the hot water was great and it was clean
This was a “we needed a place to stay for the night before leaving early the next day” kinda stay. Staff was friendly, parking lot felt safe, the room was clean, it was a WONDERFUL place to see, especially after driving all day.
Will definitely keep this place in mind next time I go through Raleigh.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Plenty of parking and restaurants nearby, mostly on the opposite side of a very busy road.
The room was roomy and quiet. I really appreciate a 100% non-smoking hotel. Check in and check out were quick and the staff were friendly. However, I was disappointed to find some of the furniture was sub-standard and the housekeeping wasn't up to par.
The bed mattress was work and not well supported on the side closest to the bathroom. The mattress compressed about 90% in that area. Also, the furnishings were modern but not well maintained. There were scratches on the desk (that I initially mistook for debris) and some of the other surfaces. The mini fridge didn't keep my food cold and it appeared to have been removed and not re-installed carefully, as it seemed to be tilted.
I found dirty/greasy black smudges on the shower walls (didn't see these until I was in the shower), old gummy candy in the ice bucket (which I threw away and cleaned so I could use the bucket), and oily fingerprints on the faces of some of the wood furniture. Most top surfaces were clean, the floor was spotless, and the bed was cleanly made.
Red Roof Inn failed on cleanliness this time around. And I would expect a King Suite to be a bit more well-maintained.
