"This place is really special, and 1 night is definitely not long enough. We arrived late in the afternoon to a warm welcome and a refreshing drink on the deck - the views are breathtaking. The lodges are so pretty, embroidered with the birds found on the reservoir with sequins and a skylight to the stars. Even the bath boasts the same mesmerising views. We went for a walk for sundowners with a guide, learning about the wildlife & conservation, and were rewarded with a stunning sunset. The food at RAAS was the best we had in India, as was the service. Attentive yet laidback, the team are all really kind and add to the ambience. I set my alarm for sunrise and was not disappointed, enjoying a coffee as the sky turned pink. A beautiful oasis after the excitement of the cities. "This place was super, large comfortable and clean rooms and the family is very kind and helpful. You are about a ten minute walk from the main road, and for this you will be rewarded with peace and quiet. The water is hot and the wifi is strong."

"The hotel is well-run, spotless and features excellent service and food. Trouble is it is NOISY. The room halls are an echo chamber, with uncarpeted tile floors and hard-surface walls so all night you'll hear pounding of feet and loud guests who stay up till midnight.echoing ad nauseum. The heavy room doors cannot be closed quietly and their banging add to what likely will be a restless night. AVOID if you are even a moderate sleeper!"
