"This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had, especially for the price point. I completed online check-in in advance, but when I arrived, my key wasn’t ready and I still had to wait in line for about 25 minutes because the front desk was clearly understaffed. That completely defeats the purpose of offering online check-in. There was also no easy place to refill a water bottle, which felt like a basic amenity that was missing. The walls must be paper thin. There was constant door slamming late into the night, going on until around 2am. Not occasional noise, but repeated slamming that made it nearly impossible to sleep. Even my college-aged son, who can normally sleep through anything, couldn’t believe how loud it was. It didn’t improve in the morning. Starting around 7am, staff walkie talkies were beeping loudly in the hallways, which woke us up. Then, despite completing online checkout for 11am, someone knocked on our door at 8am asking if we had left. That was completely inappropriate and disruptive, especially with my son still asleep. For nearly $500 a night, this level of disorganization, noise, and lack of consideration is unacceptable. I would not stay here again."

"Breakfast was amazing, fiya, etc saved like 100 bucks on breakfast just eating here you will save 20 bucks per person per night jus staying here! Another things is this place is great priced honestly only place I will be staying in pismo!"

"We loved our stay at Masterpiece Hotel. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good with hot oatmeal and stuffed egg type frittatas. Also juice and oranges and apples available. "

"I paid for a deluxe balcony and they put me in the furthest room in the back. On top of that1 the sheets looked used with blood stains on one bed. The other bed and pillow smelled completely like BO and again sheets looked used. The screen door on the sliding glass was just sitting on the balcony broken. The front desk was unhelpful. Probably the worse hotel I’ve ever been to and I’ve traveled all over the world."
