Very clean. Staff is excellent. Comes with a nice breakfast. But save your money on the Blue Ridge view, there is only a distant sight line. View is only of University roof tops.

This establishment gives the wonderful views of the Radford University campus. The staff was nice and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Definitely a must stay hotel if you are visiting the university.

There was a malfunctioning light that ran across the headboards that flashed like a strobe all night long, and kept me awake. The manager was not on site when we checked out and has refused to contact me or issue a refund. Also, no one was available at the restaurant when we wanted to purchase breakfast.

The Highlander has a conveniently located to Radford University. It is an upscale hotel with nice amenities, a lovely rooftop restaurant and hip coffee bar off the main lobby. Very chic but cozy hotel in this small college town.

The hotel was beautifully decorated. I loved all the colors used! I feel like there was a lot of seating options in our room, 401, but not much attention on the tiny kitchen area. It was nice having a sink but a microwave would have been handy. Lots of storage room above sink for??? Loved the views and bed was very comfortable.

I would just make sure that all shampoo is refilled before each guest. In the shower I had no shampoo in the pump bottle aside from two small pumps that came out, it was empty. Very inconvenient but we managed.

This would have been 5 stars all around but this morning we wanted to get coffee and something to eat at the café. No one was there, two people at the front desk saw us standing there and said nothing. Finally the person working there showed up. The food, which was premade in a glass case, did not look appetizing so we just got coffee. Even them getting the drip coffee together was an ordeal. Other than this experience the place is awesome.
