"We had a wonderful stay at The Vine House. It is so beautiful, the location is just gorgeous, the views are absolutely to die for from the rooms and terrace and it is the most peaceful place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend a room with a balcony so you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. This is really more of a B&B than a fully equipped hotel as there aren't lots of facilities which we knew beforehand. The restaurant was delicious (although the portions a little small for the price perhaps) and pool setting beautiful (although it wasn't open during our stay). Staff were lovely and the tour of the vineyards was a lovely touch. Overall we would absolutely recommend this gorgeous spot "

"Hotel is located on hill area, view is very good from terrace area. Room is clean. Room has no iron box. Basic amenities with simple hot pot. Dog barking outside, we could hear the noise from bathroom window. Breakfast is ok, there are not many other choices outside the hotel near by or near station area. "

"Katarina was wonderful! She made check in easy and welcoming and even helped to get our luggage out of the car, up stairs and right to our room door. We were then given information on restaurants, vineyards for tours and tasting, information on breakfast…. We could not ask for more ! Breakfast buffet was excellent! Hot food, super fresh baked goods, yogurt, fruits, fresh juice…. And a great view to the river and far shore. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. The river view and private huge balcony were wonderful. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend the hotel. "

The drive up to the hotel was a challenge,(for us) however, the staff drove our luggage down to our car after our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "Its up on a hillside as most in the valley, and there are a lot of steps, and you need a car to reach the restaurant. The restaurant marked the items that were glutenfree, etc, but had no ready solution for gluten and lactose free. Breakfast was fine. View superb!"
