"The breakfast was buffet, we had a lot of choice plus hot omlettes and vegan sausages. However, i feel in most 5 star hotels you have more hot food options like hot pancakes and english breakfasts. The hotel is near so many restaurants and shops are 10 mins walk. Overall room was clean however we had to ask for slippers, spa access didn’t include sauna and steam. It just wasn't a fully 5 star stay! They made a real effort for my parents anniversary! "
"Incredible hotel! Super modern and well designed. No direct beach access but there is nearby.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The food is good and the staff can help recommend local places to eat.
Plenty of space to lie by the pools. Could be a few more loungers at the adult pool.
Nice modern gym.
Room was beautiful (had the cheapest type) and was always cleaned really well!
Only downsides were that the room was not ready at check in time and the coffee is not great (if you care about that). Will definitely be returning."
"The hotel is very clean and modern. Our room had a nice view. It's very close to the Aquashow. We were travelling as a group of 3, two adult friends and a ten-year-old child. The 3rd bed in our room was a flop-out chair bed, very unsuitable. This was replaced with a camp bed on wheels, which was, needless to say, also very uncomfortable and unsuitable for an adult. We were allowed to stay on site for the remainder of the day following check out. "
"Really surprised that epic sana was so well run. Fine dining, Uddo and Lima restaurants were all excellent. If I’d been told that fine dining was Michelin star I wouldn’t have been surprised, really top notch. The uddo japanese restaurant was also so much better than the usual sticks and sushi that are standard fare in the west, we’ve been to Japan 4 times in the last 5 years and the uddo compared well.
Facilities were excellent, we chose the epic sana as my wife likes fitness classes so was well catered for.
The location just above a truly beautiful beach . Our first time in albufiera and we were stunned by the beaches.
We will likely return soon."
"The property was great, a lovely villa. This was our 2nd visit, the only things that weren't as good this time - in particular was the shuttle bus around the resort. In the summer it is an excellent service, at Easter they only had 1 car so the wait for the service, instead of being 5 mins was more like 20-30 mins. This was poor and they should have had more drivers, I wouldn't go again at Easter they are not staffed for it. Additionally I had booked a restaurant reservation at Spikes, I had multiple confirmations but when we got there they didn't have our booking! Luckily the staff are great and Valentina recognised us from last year and looked after us so we had a great time, just small details that could have been better. Overall the villa was gorgeous and we had a lovely time. "
