"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But there was a broken tile in the bathroom, right in front of the sink, that would stick to your foot and come up whenever you stepped on it. Not a big deal, but irritating. At check-in, even though I paid for the room when I booked, they wanted a $100 cash-only deposit that I was not told about beforehand. I rarely carry cash. The ATM in their lobby wasn't working and the desk clerk insinuated that I didn't have the money in my account. I had to leave, in the middle of checking in, and drive to a working ATM. Then in the morning, when we were checking out, a different desk clerk was across the room having a conversation while we waited at the desk. After several minutes, my husband walked over and said that we needed to check out. Then she acted irritated when she came over. After asking our room number and to see my ID, she pulled out a paper with the two $50 bills I had given them the night before folded inside and handed my cash back. I still don't understand the purpose of holding cash overnight and returing it in the morning. I understand a hotel wanting a credit card to cover damages, etc. but they never asked for a card, just the cash... If there was no other option, I would stay here again. But there are other options in the area, hopefully without the rude staff and weird cash holding policy."

"The hotel was wonderful, and the staff was very pleasant, especially during check-in. Overall, we had a great stay. The only concern I wanted to mention is that we ordered room service on Friday night, and the food tray remained outside our door in the hallway until Sunday. Unfortunately, it created an unpleasant odor. Also, when we checked out this morning, one of the metal food covers was still in our room, even though the room had been cleaned on both Saturday and Sunday. Aside from that issue, everything else about the stay was great."
