"My birthday trip at the Marriott in St. Julian’s was excellent. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff made me feel welcome and safe as a solo female traveller. I especially enjoyed the spa area, which was peaceful and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to relax during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel."
"Very nice hotel in great location on the edge of Valleta town. Good facilities although one of the restaurants was closed and the outdoor pool was not open for season yet. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the concierge service. Room was Ok though a little tired. Didn't try the Spa services as we found them very expensive."
"The hotel is just completing a major extension and the connection between the old and the new was a bit complicated to navigate (two separate lifts and long corridor) especially when given incorrect instructions by the check-in staff.
The room and the bed were very large and had a nice balcony and bathroom but the fittings were poorly installed and some fell off or were missing altogether (eg hand towel rings, night light). The aircon was a bit difficult to operate and there seemed to be no 'off' switch. We were also disturbed when sleeping by a knocking noise somewhere near our room. It felt like the development had been rushed into service and there was still some work going on around us.
The hotel is well situated and has beautiful views. The bar and restaurant were very good and the evening meals we had in the lobby restaurant were superb. Very friendly staff and very good service. The Spa was very good and well priced though the indoor pool is a bit gloomy. The outdoor pool was not in service yet but looks inviting and the rooftop restaurant was closed but is in a great position and if it matches the downstairs restaurant it will be a great place to spend the evening."
"Just loved the area it was in the rooms were great with a view friendly attentive staff, plenty of eating options around and churches if you're into that "
