"Paulous Valletta was an absolutely fantastic stay. We had the room on at the top with the balcony overlooking the harbour and our to sea. Highly, highly recommend! Comfy bed, great shower, little private kitchen (down some steep steps but if you're mobile absolutely fine). And the view from the balcony (with loungers) was great. Very well located, walking distance from everything and quiet at night. Thanks! Will come back :)"

"We had an amazing stay, the property is excellent - well maintained and clean throughout. It was very well located, with restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away, a short walk to the local beach, and easy to either get to the bus terminal or have a taxi come to the door. Would love to stay again and can highly recommend. "

"The location of the property was ideal, with easy access to the market and many local restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the condition of the unit was disappointing. There was noticeable mold, and the smell was overwhelming upon entering. The portable AC unit, combined with the humidity filter, did little to improve the air quality. "We have been here for one week holiday. The position of the complex is quite convenient (it is located near the most beautiful and populated area in St. Paul's Bay), but our experience was not satisfactory at all. The building is very old, the room cleaning service below the minimum acceptable level (no liquid soap refill, no towels change) and the shower very difficult to use. The balcony was "equipped" with dirty chairs and sunbeds, and the air conditioning device of the room aside leaking...

10/10 Excellent

"I was a bit unsure at first because of some of the bad reviews, but I’m glad I went for it. The hotel is brand new and you can feel it, everything works well and looks fresh. Since it’s a soft opening, a few things aren’t finished yet (like the gym door missing and small details around the place), but nothing major. I did notice some workers improving things here and there during the day, even using hand tools around 11am, but it wasn’t a big issue and noise was quite minimal . The pool area is fantastic, staff are super friendly, and for the price it’s a solid choice. Breakfast could be better, especially during peak hours when it feels understaffed and crowded, but overall it’s definitely worth staying here."

"This was a wonderful hotel located on a bluff with very easy access to the swimming spots in the sea. Plenty of amenities and dining options, however, my wife being a vegetarian very limited options. Easy walking distance down to the bay with plenty more shopping and dining options. The entire hotel staff were courteous and provided great service. Enjoyed the spa facility and it was very clean. Actually the entire hotel and facilities were clean. Rooms were comfortable and loved the sea facing balconies to enjoy the gorgeous sunrises with my morning coffee during the stay. Overall, a great hotel, amenities, location and staff. Will definitely return."
