" There was no proper heating system for the customer. The customer couldn’t adjust the temperature in the room. Not only that did it not have extra comforts. It was terrible to wear a thick clothing to fall asleep. Definitely, I won't suggest this place to anyone. Shame!"

"Good location to beach and beach park and multiple convenience stores. Was clean but a little dated. Worked for my purposes. Make sure you show up during their check-in hours otherwise there may not be anyone there to check you in and you’d have to call for assistance. No wifi during my stay, the router wasn’t powered when I first showed up and even though I updated it to be plugged directly into the wall the setup wasn’t done correctly for my room. It was fine, just didn’t have wifi during my stay. "

"We had a wonderful budget stay with 8 family members. Enough space for social time, good breakfasts and hosts. Gangneung has a lot to offer, the local markets, churches, historical buildings plus lots of good eateries nearby & over the seaside. Just keep your eyes open. We don't speak korean but everyone was friendly & helpful. Bus access is nearby though we drove mostly as a group. Just be mindful that you may need to stay out between 1000-1500 for it's cleaning time. "
