"Never seen Red Roof so clean New luxury vynl flooring new bathtub & painted door in bathroom. Missing tissues but has Great Wall containers - shampoo & body wash. Need better towels otherwise big room & clean. "

"Room had cosmetic issues. Rug was coming up at bathroom door. Shower curtain rod was hanging down so that water went all over floor. Floor was not level. "

"The room was clean BUT....the beds were horrible! The bed frame was a full size but the mattress was a queen size so when you sat on the edge you slid off!! Very uncomfortable. At breakfast i went down for coffee. There were no coffee cups and when i asked for one i was told they were out of them! I was told to use a juice cup which is about a 3 oz cup! A couple tables were unclean and the atmosphere was uninviting. No curtains or shades to cover the dirty windows. Will not stay there when i go to the Richmond area again."

"The staff is wonderful but this hotel is shabby at best. Chairs in the dining area are absolutely filthy, lobby chairs are pretty good. Hallways smell very musty as did the room. Our room.was not ready when we arrived, which was an hour after check in time. Waiting over an hour for the front desk clerk to.come downstairs, as she was helping get the rooms ready for all of the guests waiting to check in. She was very nice, actually upgraded us to.a suite to make up.for the wait. Overall not impressed with this place but the staff were all really great. Friendly, nice and doung the best they could. "
