"The hotel is in a wonderful location in a quiet town with access to the beach via a taxi boat. The hotel lobby and rooftop bar is modern, clean and well kept. A short 3 minute walk down a gradual hill will get you to the square and a further 5 minutes will take you to the older town and dock. The rooms were okay. The hotel works on a upgrade policy so you are put in the worst room available and then offered to pay for an upgraded room. We weren't that bothered by the lower standard of room as we were only there four day but this is an added expense to be aware of. The staff we helpful and friendly and the hotel was overall clean. The spa looks beautiful but is poorly maintained. The sauna is damaged broken and feels dirty. The steam room doesn't have a shower head so sweat cannot be flushed from the seats/floor and the jacuzzi side of the pool is broken. If booking because of the spa, it would be disappointing. You must wear a fabric swimming cap which makes it less relaxing and considering the poor cleanliness and how poorly maintained the equipment is seems unnecessary. The gym is well equipt and clean. The roof top bar is lovely but they cocktails are weak and overpriced. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars and shops within a 5 minute walk so we didn't use the hotel. The breakfast was efficient, clean and included lots of fresh, continental and cooked options."
