Good location but old

The staff is great, the location is good, but the place needs a complete remodel (see photos), the breakfast is terrible, the breads taste really bad. The tv is very old, it makes a very loud noise, you can barely hear what's on. The AC stops and turns back on by itself through the night.

Close to beach, lovely staff and great breakfast

Beautiful place, lovely and helpful staff and delicious breakfast buffet with healthy alternatives. They lend you chairs and towels for the beach which is a 3 min walk away. They also heated up some food for us one evening, as the rooms don't have a kitchenette. Beautiful view from the balconies! Would absolutely recommend this place!

Me aloje en el Hostal junto a mi hija y mi sobrina en febrero 2015. Pasamos 6 dias muy agradables. El personal es muy amable. El desayuno es delicioso, bien surtido , con panes y pasteleria casera. Las playas estan muy cerca y se puede llegar a ellas caminando. La Barra es un centro muy animado, con negocios muy variados. Recomiendo el hotel 100%.

Old small room. old small TV. free breakfast is just ok. No food served for lunch or dinner. No refund policy for early checkout. I will never go back to Punta del Este or this hotel again since it's over priced, old and nothing to do.

Hotel was just ok. Bathroom super small. Breakfast below average. Close to beach but beach way too rocky and little boring. Food and drinks way too expensive for average or below quality. Whole town infested with bugs and mosquito. Everything outside so dusty and dirty. I will never go back to Uruguay again.

Excelente servicio

El servicio del hotel era excelente, los recepcionistas eran muy simpáticos y nos ayudaron a encontrar lo que necesitábamos. Era muy limpio y confortable. Estaba bien ubicado frente al mar y a hermosas playas, y a 20 minutos en bus del terminal de Punta del Este. Es muy tranquilo. Recomiendo este hotel si Uds van a Punta del Este.

Litet och fräscht hotel. Rumet vi hade va relativt nyrenoverat, ganska litet med ändå rymligt nog för två stora resväskor. Hotelet ligger centralt i la barra, och har nära till stranden. Området är charmigt och väldigt hippt, folk är vackra och/eller rika. Det är lite lugnare än Punta.
