The building is new and very nice as is the pool, but it is surrounded by construction sights as far as you can see and there are no other amenities such as food, bar, etc at this locations. The rooms are very nice and set up apartment style so plan to order in food and drinks or take a trip to the grocery store to stock up. Also, because it is in the gated community of Cap Cana, Uber or other similar services likely won't have access so you will need to make transportation arrangement with the staff or another way.
