There is no faulting the staff from housekeeping to management. Should a problem arise it is dealt with fairly & promptly & the English of the receptionist Rina(?) & manager is impeccable. The restaurant staff are very attentive. Surroundings are beautiful. Pool area is spotless & pool beautifully inviting just like the promotional photos & lifeguards on hand. No problem with getting parasols & sunbeds both pool & beach. Would have been nice to have had somewhere with snacks during the day as you are limited to using the restaurants on site during fixed hours if you have no car & the food is pricey but not as good as expected. Breakfast buffet is, however, plentiful & with lot of choice & best peaches & nectarines ever tasted !

Overall hotel location is amazing. Private beach and beautiful. That is what you are paying for. Now, all the bad things: Rooms - overall very dirty. They didn’t vacuum the rooms at all. In addition, the rooms are in a desperate need of renovation. It is old, but not only that, the bathrooms are nasty and you could barely use the shower because it was both broken and lacked water pressure. Food - breakfast was eatable but that is it. Not something you’d expect from a hotel you paid this amount of money for. The bacon looked disgusting. Lunch is served in a different restaurant from breakfast and dinner and it was the only ”good” food we had during our stay. Dont get me wrong, not the best food I’ve eaten but atleast it was okay italian food. Regarding dinner, dont eat dinner here. Frozen vegetables, cold food and just bad overall. Dont waste your money on this. Also, even though it is hotel food you pay for, they add service fee to lunch and dinner (and the service was terrible) Finally, check out, they gave us the bill for everything we’ve eaten during our stay and numbers were okay. Then the staff said that they missed the city tax and gave me a new two page receipt. However, this time they added the cost for the rooms which i already payed for. I highlighted this and they said ”you have?” And just printed a receipt again. Felt like they wanted to double charge me as they didnt even check the system to confirm, nor did they apologise. Go somewhere else…

Terrible stay

Terrible hotel, pictures reflect reality 20 years ago. The beach is nothing like the pictures either. The hotel is not pet-friendly either because you are allowed to bring your dog and lock it in the room, the dog is not allowed on the beach or pool or restaurant or even garden. I would not recommend to anyone.

Luna is a resort hotel built in the 1950s. While I am sure it was elegant back then, it has not been updated or renovated since and was frankly in a decrepit condition. The site is impressive and the beach excellent, but the hotel itself tired and a bit depressing. Old world service (most of the staff were in their 60s) and lacking modern amenities. We felt like we were living in another era/

When we arrived there were no hallway lights to our room so we walked along a long dark hallway. The shower was not working initially until they sent someone up to fix it. The shower light was not working so we showered in the dark. We booked the prestige superior sea view room. In the photos online there is a balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean. Our room was directly above the restaurant (loud) and had only partial ocean view. There was no balcony to sit outside. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The food was just okay. We had to find someone in the morning for coffee. The hotel is outdated. I would not stay here again.

Quiet beach front resort

Very Italian feeling beach side resort. All the staff where very friendly and helpful. Felt very welcoming. Beautiful views and quiet area with great areas for walking and running. The included full breakfast was excellent- coffee hot croissant eggs bacon fruit- all that is needed! Would definitely recommend!

We have been there for a wedding and slept over for a night only. Not easy to recognise once there so went straight down to the road ( as everyone else did ). The rooms were quite aged and definitely need a refresh, love the style but for the money we paid I would have expected more in terms of maintenance. The rooms were cleaned but around the residence there was not a bin or an ashtray so some glasses were left behind and stayed around for hours and hours with members of staff passing by them several times and ignoring them.

Hotellet har ett väldigt fint läge, härlig pool och charmig trädgård. Mysig frukostrestaurang och bra frukostbuffé. Rena och fräscha rum. Det som var sämre var att sängen var extremt hård, på vårt rum hade vi även en köksfläkt på balkongen som lät väldigt högt morgon och kväll. I trädgåren hade de starka ledlights vilket tyvärr gjorde en mysiga trädgården mindre trevlig kvällstid.

Bella struttura con ottima posizione fronte mare, bella area piscina e bella spiaggette. Colazione ottima e abbondante, personale gentile e disponibile. Qualche mancanza dal punto di vista della gestione del verde, non ben curato su tutta la struttura, e degli alloggi, un po’ datati e necessitanti di manutenzione e qualche miglioria per essere in linea con un servizio da 4 stelle.

Sehr schöne Lage und eigene Strände. Personal war immer sehr nett . Leider fehlt es dem ganzen Hotel an einer gewissen Grundsauberkeit und die Zimmer sind sehr veraltet. Diese zwei Basics entsprechen generell keinem Hotel, die Lage und Aussicht hat es ausgeglichen, dass wir es nicht verlassen haben.
