Pools were clean and good. Challenge was that many people had cancelled so they then closed most of the restaurants daily. There would be maybe two plus a buffet open and if you missed the one you wanted then you had to go to the same one's over and over. One night we tried to go to the French restaurant but was refused for dress. Went back to the room and ordered room service - worst food every had and we sent the entire meal back. Pizza was half cooked and half raw dough. Had Hummus and pita and they sent two small wedges of pita so hard they were impossible to eat. Told the manager the next day and they promised to do something but of course they didn't. Also noting that we paid a lot of money for what we thought was the Secrets service and adults only environment. Many nights the only food was on the family Dreams side - not what we paid for. The other issue was that outside of the airport we had never experienced vulture time share sales experiences like this before. It never ended through the whole week as they constantly hounded us and tried to find some wedge to give us something free so we would talk to them. Just put a very bad feel on an already unfortunate experience. Will never go to a Secrets again and we certainly know we paid a lot of dollars for nothing. Staff were great and very friendly and helpful outside of the time share sales staff.

View from our Oceanfront suite was Spectacular.Our Butler Jose did an outstanding job getting us medications we were short of due to Westjets delays and cartel problems.He made.many arrangements for us and found us some Canadian Club whiskey.The pools were excellent and the staff were always attentive.We enjoyed the Asian and French restaurants(food was excellent) Oceana restaurant was not open during our stay due to drop in occupancy because of Cartel troubles.

Carlos and Daniel brother were excellent pool service attendants ! The restaurant staff were great . Entertainment was very poor except new year eve that was outstanding. Location of property is great but room could use a refresher and pillow more confortable . Food at pool is the same every days , wish more option . Entertainment at pool is poor and practically none at night. Restaurants option is ok Watch out for the free coupon at check in , fine print for eligibility after the fact . The only restaurant with a view is for preferred members only.

While the resort has many attractive features, several issues significantly detracted from our overall experience. Daytime poolside music was excessively loud, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the otherwise beautiful surroundings. In the evenings, entertainment between the neighboring Secrets and Dreams resorts was poorly coordinated. Because the venues are so close together, overlapping events—such as karaoke at one resort and a DJ at the other—created a noisy, chaotic environment rather than enjoyable nightlife. Most disappointing was the aggressive promotion of Hyatt membership programs. Staff repeatedly approached us with sales pitches, often disguised as offers for discounts or resort benefits. These interactions felt intrusive and inappropriate for a premium, all-inclusive vacation, especially when they began shortly after arrival. Guests should be able to enjoy their stay without feeling pressured into sales conversations. Although the resort is visually appealing and well-maintained, the constant noise and persistent sales tactics negatively impacted the sense of relaxation and would make us reconsider returning in the future.

Several times (even after housekeeping had come for the day), they would knock and try to enter. Woke us up a few times. Also, the walls/floors are thin, so you can hear things moving around and it's hard to sleep.

Well got caught up with FAA grounding flights so I called secrets. Just so you know they tell you not their problem so you lose a night. Many issues with room, showere door wouldn’t close or drain etc. they get very pushy wanting to sell you their Membership which is a timeshare. Building manager at preferred club didn’t like the fact that I didn’t want to spend a 1/2 day being hounded. It’s a Hyatt but the don’t recognize your status. Most likely will never return. Wait staff was very good especially Hugo

This stay was poor, we wound not visit this hotel again, Our Room backed to clearly a void between hotels that is used for workers or industrial, not only was it an eyesore it was extremely loud, with a truck running 24/7. The door to our hotel room you could see daylight around the entire door sealing no outside noise. It was not relaxing, Many of the restaurants are closed at a decent hour and almost nothing open past 10/11 to eat at either of the hotels that are adjoined. The food was also Mediocre at best, with the Asian Hotel being the only really good option. I added to all reservations that we were celebrating my Wife's 40th Bday ZERO Mention of it at the hotel, they dod nothing, which I thought was a bit under whelming considering all booking and upon check in was relayed. We did visit two places via Vallarta Adventures who were fantastic but had nothing to do with the hotel. I will leave them outstanding reviews. Overall, this hotel underwhelms, The Spa offered Hydrotherapy which we love but wanted $109 per person a day, which is FREE at Le Blanc Hotels. We were spoiled by them in Cabo. Last Comment, We went into the snack shack on way out, Ice Cream section Closed it is in the same room with other snacks, they wont serve it at 10am but standing next to it, but the bar is open for Tequila shots. It was an overall underwhelming stay.

The speciality restaurants (Italian &French) were very good but the others needed some improvement. The property needs some upgrades to keep it at the high standard it used to be.
