Older hotel both amazing ocean views! All staff were very friendly. Efficient front desk. Restaurant served very tasty Mexican fare with very professional and fun wait staff. The beach is rocky but the “ocean pool” is a great feature. Rooms are large with narrow balconies virtually over the water. Kitchenette was decently equipped. Stayed for two nights. Would definitely come back. The store off the lobby has a little bit of just about everything you would need for brief stays.

Beautiful location. Great Staff who seem happy to be there. My room had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, and a kitchen, plus a wraparound balcony giving panoramic views of the bay. We listened to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Yes, the hotel is a bit older, but it is well maintained, well staffed, and clean. On the bus route to Mismaloya, or a 6 minute cab ride to the Romantic Zone.

Room is super spacious, clean, everything works. Bed is very comfortable. View of ocean is WOW. Hospitality is 5 star everywhere...from the front door to the reception to the restaurant... always a smile and warm greeting with patience for all my questions. Downside: Rooms are quite outdated.... really can use a facelift. We stayed at the 5th floor and though the view was spectacular, the ocean noise was roaring day n night. Some may find it bothersome n hard to sleep with.

Room is in desperate need of an upgrade. Our fridge did not close properly so the icebox froze up and our food was not kept cold. Saying that, the views of the ocean were first rate. Balcony was small - room for 2 chairs - but it was lovely to sit there and watch the whales and the sunsets.
