Excellent stay at Best western Ivywall. The property is well taken care of and I felt valued as a customer. Airport shuttle was easily arranged in advance and it was waiting for me when I arrived. Initially I had problems connecting to the room wifi but it was quickly resolved by front desk staff. The staff are very friendly and eager to help or answer questions and are very approachable. The room was clean and in good condition and was quiet throughout the night. The included breakfast buffet had everything from fresh fruit to meat and veggies with a omelette station, needless to say I had an enjoyable breakfast. Thanks to bartender Brian and Robert in the concierge for making the stay memorable. Would come back to this hotel again next time I’m in PPC.

Although we only spent 2 nights here, we enjoyed every bit of our stay here! The staff took care of us, especially Robert! What a great guy! I also liked the location of the hotel. It was close to everything! Lastly, the breakfast was great as well. I appreciate that they had just enough western dishes for a change but really focused on the Filipino cuisine. We will definitely be staying here if we come back to Puerto Princesa!

Overall, this stay was fairly average and didn’t quite live up to expectations. The pool area was disappointing, with most of it covered and very limited space to actually sit in the sun. The attached restaurant was also under maintenance during the stay, which was inconvenient, and the dinner buffet was particularly underwhelming. Breakfast was quite limited as well, with not much variety on offer. That said, the staff were genuinely nice and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, for what was provided, it felt overpriced and not great value for money.
