"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"Close to the centre of town and the waterfront. The restaurant is adequate. Most rooms are quite good however I was allocated a second floor room which had totally inefficient air-conditioning. The heat in the room was unbearable. I had to ask twice to be relocated and after two miserable nights finally got moved to a ground floor room."

"For the price it is perfect! The staff were great and location close enough to action you can get to it but not sleeping in it. The only issue is with electrical power and internet. They have a backup generator so it's not too big of a deal but with all the improvements made locally, the power grid needs some serious attention which is being a burden on local businesses and travelers alike.
