This was such a great place to stay. I enjoyed the food spots that were nearby and also how close it was to the beach! I think this place was perfect to stay in La Punta because of its convienence and cleaniness.

When we arrived Diego at the front desk was super friendly and gave us suggestions for places to eat and things to do! Ramon also was very helpful, overall we felt safe and it felt like a big family! big plus was the breakfast , it was really good coffee and fresh fruit. Most definitely stay here again!

Walking distance for food and nightlife. Hotel looks better in person than in pictures. Safe and easy to grab a taxi. Beds are a tad bit small, but it’s manageable. Staff is really cool and friendly.

Punta Kai was a very clean place and conveniently located near the center. The staff was always attentive to what we needed and very friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. The only downside was that even after the quiet hours began, some guests continued making noise, which made it difficult to fully rest. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Punta Kai is an excellent place to stay in Puerto Escondido. The design of the the property is unique and location is ideal for nightlife, cuisine, and relaxation.

I loved that it was just a block away from the Main Street at La Punta, just overall great great great location. Some previous reviews mention a steep heel but honestly it's not that bad at all. The pool was a cute amenity. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value, staff & perfectly located

Honestly, great value. My room was huge, with AC, a great balcony with a hamac, and this outdoor-yet-private bathroom with a bath overviewing the ocean. Pool, rooftop, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Extremely well located in the good part of Puerto Escondido. All restaurants 2min away. Hotel location is extremely quiet.

Great location a few blocks off the main drag which kept it quiet at night. Lovely view from rooms: mix of hostel and hotel. Breakfast is fruit, toast and weak coffee on the roof…. Just enough to get you started. Looks like you can keep your own food in the small communal kitchen on the roof also. Small pool only has 4 loungers, so stake your claim if that’s your plan :)

Amazing view from balcony

I only stayed for one night. The view from my balcony was amazing. Chilling in the hammack while watching the sunset was a magic moment. AC was good and there was also a fan, which was enough for me Note however that the room and bathroom are super small. Im glad I was solo. It would be too small for me if we were 2.

A few days in Puerto Escondido

The hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was a bit skimpy but coffee was very good. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

SAD EXPERIENCE!!! No lo recomiendo. Rude attention from the Spanish girl at the front desk. Rooms are the ugliest I’ve seen for the price. Noisy, loud music all day. No water, don’t go here please.
