Great location, vintage charm, friendly staff and excellent food all made our stay at HFdM a pleasure. The rooftop deck with hammocks and pool were as advertised - and a delight. I spent my birthday in a hammock looking out at the sea.

Great Summer!

Hotel has an amazing views , specially in the afternoon , close to the beach , easy walk . It has very good services ( great snack and drinks) , friendly people , but They need to fix a problem in the bathroom.

We had a fabulous stay, the rooftop pool was a delight and the beds were very comfortable! The food for both breakfast and the pool bar were a surprising delight - the freshest guac and fun cocktails too! Super close to the beach for nice walks as well and the cats were arorable!

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Flor de Maria. The rooms were cozy and clean. The pool and terrace provided a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful views, relax and cool off. We met friendly, interesting people, and the staff were very helpful and sweet. We would go back in a heartbeat!

A 200 metre walk to the north end of Zicatela beach and the 1km strip of good hotels, bars and restaurants. The rooftop terrace is fantastic with a good variety of up to date furnishings and a lovely view of the sea. Excellent bar service.

Great location, comfortable and helpful staff!

The hotel is clean, comfortable and perfectly located. It is a 15 minute walk from the bus station, right at the entrance of Zicatella and a 2 minute walk from the beach. The showers can use a bit of a facelift but otherwise our stay was perfect, so much so we immediately booked an additional night.

The room we were in was in poor condition. Windows would not close, shabby unwelcoming depressing room needs upgrading. Beds were very comfortable and appreciated. Room Towels were old and ripped on the edges. Definitely need new towels. Definitely downgraded sine I last stayed there 7 years ago Deck top pool was lovely. Disappointed in the ambience of what I had remembered. Office staff welcoming and kind.

This is like a diamond in the rough. Very hard to rate. We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It is old but super clean and eclectic. My first impression of the room was not good. It was very simple and old fashion. However the bed was quite comfortable and adequate. The pool area on the roof was fantastic. Hammocks were wonderful with the sea breeze. There is a full bar with great staff and food service. We found both sun and shade up on the roof. the reality is we only slept in the room and kept ourselves busy between the beach and the roof deck. The location was quiet and well air conditioned. The location is close to everything.

This property was exactly what I was looking for such as decent, affordable, and accessible to the beach. I booked a room with 2 beds. Everyday the room was cleaned and ready to go. I also want to point out if the owner sees this review that their employee female named Yessi is such an amazing person! She’s so amable, sweet, and very responsive. She is the reason why I would go back and book my stay here. She needs to move up in position because she is the face of this hotel. The beds do need better pillows. We also encounter a problem with our breakfast and the team room are of it right away and made sure we were satisfied. Overall, this hotel is 2 min from marinero beach, and it has a beautiful decor. I would definitely come back here in the future. Thank you Yessi and Toño.
