The hotel was closed to the street, staff was very helpful suggesting what to around the area. The area was safe to walk late at night and the hotel was quiet so we had a restful night.

The hotel has a very good location. 10 minutes walk from the airport or from the city center. The staff was nice. However, the noise level in the room was unbelievable. I could here all the sounds. I kept on thinking my window must have been opened but after checking couple of times, it was well closed. I could here the showers in the other room (not just the plumbing, the actual water). In the bathroom my shea butter container got the attention of an army of mini-ants.

We loved the close proximity to the town and airport as everything was in walking distance. The staff was outstanding. We did have an issue with our hot water not working, but the staff came to get it to work right away. The daily breakfast was always delicious as we got eggs made fresh daily and fresh delicious fruit was also included. Also, we went on 2 excursions where we had to meet before breakfast started. So the staff got us a box breakfast the night before we left on these excursions. Overall, we were very pleased with the excellent service and cleanliness of the room.

Hotel was a short walk to shopping, waterfront and inexpensive local food. Breakfast was $5 and was buffet style. Room was clean. Shower temperature was very touchy. Front desk staff was pleasant. Booked this last minute. Was a little overpriced but not too bad.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Los Algarrobos on San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos. The location was perfect - convenient to explore the town center and the waterfront promenade. The staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions I had. Hotel Los Algorrobos provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay in the Galapagos. My room was clean, spacious, and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value and a friendly atmosphere in San Cristobal.

Good place.

This is a really good place to stay. It is in a great location with eateries, groceries, etc very close and a 3 minute walk to the water. There is an old pool table to shoot some pool. The staff is very helpful. Air conditioning works great. Wi-Fi is spotty but it is easy to find where it works better within the building. We enjoyed our 3 nights there.

Basic hotel in good location.

The location was good, the room was very small and basic. There was only one set of towels and one was stained so I asked for 2 new towels which were provided straight away. The bed was reasonably comfortable and we slept ok. We didn’t eat breakfast because we had activities planned but a box lunch was provided.

Good budget stay-with proper expectations

We had a good stay in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in this family size room. The entrance is a little hidden from the street view, but our taxi from the airport knew exactly where it was. Easy to walk into town about 4 blocks. We found a great bakery down the street for breakfast, too. This place is dated and worn, but we felt safe and enjoyed the large room and terrace especially. Would have been good to have another chair out there. Good air condition and water pressure. Staff was nice; filtered water and instant coffee available in the common area. Note-no elevator. Overall, it was fine for a stay as long as you expect hostel style-but with a bonus private bathroom!

We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room ready as soon as possible. Check-in was easy. They offer instant coffee, cold and hot water and tea all day long in the lobby. They have nice and comfortable common areas where WiFi signal is better compared to the WiFi in the rooms which may be spotty at times. They offer a nice breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fruit) at the restaurant on the 1st floor for 6 USD. You can ask for filtered coffee or some milk at the restaurant for free. Walking distance to the airport is about 10 mins (nice easy walk). Some rooms have a safe. Shower has hot water.
