Very attractive and clean hotel. Staff was quite attentive and helpful in parking my car and taking my bags up to my room. Fantastic location near shopping and car free streets.

Staff was cordial and attentive. Hotel was in overall good condition. The single bed room is smaller than your typical hotel room size but good if you just plan to sleep and explore during the day. The AC unit was noisy at low temperatures which made it challenging to sleep. There is some minimal light that comes through the door which also serves as the window for the room, something to consider for light sleepers. Decent hotel, great location.

We had a group, 15 rooms, and stayed two nights. The beds were comfortable. I am rating 3 stars because the safes do not work. We had one safe that would not let us back in with our code. It took almost 24 hours to get back in since the front desk had to call the manager, who was not on site at 8 am, or 2 pm, or 4 pm, or 6 pm, or 8 pm. Then we learned they just had to go upstairs to get the key to get into the safe at 10 pm due to us demanding them to let us in, at which point the staff tried the safe - said it worked when they locked it, but when they tried to open it with their new code, it would open - finally they admitted it didn't work. We were leaving the next morning and our passports were in the safe. I imagine they have many issues with guests forgetting the codes but this was ridiculous. Also, the maids tend to kick you out of your rooms around 9 AM to clean. Sometimes they half clean your room and you have to go to the front desk to ask they finish cleaning your room and one of our rooms with this issues was not cleaned entirely.

Recently stayed in hotel Isabel and for the price this place was wonderful. Very friendly staff, the rooms were clean and right down the street from downtown Puebla. The restaurant that they have was great and I was well served. I would definitely come back and I will be recommending this place to my family members and friends.

I highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is a hidden gem. Staff is extremely helpful and helpful. Location is perfect for solo travelers and for families. Walking location to all shopping center. And the hotel is beautiful.

Good hotel with basic services close to the Zocalo area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty clean and the room had plenty of room and was in good repair. Would definitely stay here again.

El hotel está en una súper ubicación, cercas de la catedral y de la plaza! El valet parking es muy rápido, la atención al huésped es excelente y pasamos dos noches muy agradables con mi familia! Me volvería a quedarme sin duda!! Súper recomendado!

As soon as we walked in the door, the experience started off on a bad foot. We were assigned a room that had not yet been cleaned and then we were relocated to a room full of visible mold. We requested to be moved but when asked if we used anything in the room, I communicated that I used toilet paper to blow my nose and flushed the paper down the toilet. We were then accompanied by staff to our room to confirm if the room was in condition to be changed. They walked in and immediately said no because the toilet paper was touched. After going back to front desk, I was called a liar about the bathroom when I had mentioned that prior to going upstairs. If that was going to be an issue then we shouldn’t have gone upstairs in the first place. They mentioned changing our room the next day but no effort was made to do so. All in all, this was such a horrible experience starting with the treatment of the staff, to the condition of the room, and on top of that super noisy throughout the night and you can’t even sleep.

El hotel en general esta en muy buenas condiciones, el unico problema que tuve cuando hice el check-out una senora afirmo que con una toalla pequena nos habiamos limpiado los zapatos, a lo cual le dije que era mentira por que no llevabamos mas que alpargatas, chanclas y tenis, por lo cual le dije que no levantara falsos y aparte la forma en que lo dijo fue sin ninguna etica, pues lo pregono delante de los que estabamos en recepcion, cuando en realidad lo unico que hice que pise la toalla con las chanclas, pero no era nada mas que tierra, pero de ahi en fuera todo estuvo bien.

My first night I arrived no one greeted or welcomed me. I told the young girl I was here to check in. She didn’t know what I was Talking about. She then wanted me to fill out a guest card until another lady stepped in and told her to check the reservations. She found mine.. OMG! I was checked in then taken to my room. It was a dark, dingy, cell with stale odor of cigarette. I called down to say that this room wasn’t going to work for me since I was staying for 3 weeks. There was no natural light and I felt as if I were in a holding cell. Then they took me to a room where the air conditioner wasn’t working! Then they took me to a room with a double after I paid for a supieron king! I had been traveling for 14 hours and all I wanted to do was rest. No one ever followed up with me to check and see if I needed anything. I also asked the receptionist, Alejandra, regarding the difference of payment. The room I was given was cheaper than the one I originally paid for!!!! So, where is my reimbursement? Again, no one talked to me about anything. This place was more for locals than foreigners. Too much noise, day and night. The food at the restaurant was horrible. Staff either greeted you or ignored you. I felt very, very disappointed and think you should not list them on your website. WORST hotel front service staff!!! After a long trip, we showed up to check in only to find out the very rude lady at the front desk had given away our two rooms claiming we were too late & that she had called several times but could not prove what number she called as I had no missed calls. I had called the hotel on Thursday to make sure everything was ok and confirmed we would be showing up on Saturday evening, they even gave me a different confirmation number from the one Expedia had provided. The lady at the front desk did not offer any help nor did she try to apologize for giving away our rooms. She raised her hands up with no remorse only saying well I already gave your rooms to someone else, she could not have cared less. Such a bad & disappointing experience after carefully reading the reviews and choosing this hotel to start off our vacation. Would not recommend this place and hopefully management can give better training to their employees especially their front end staff. Found a much better hotel with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff that I will recommend to our friends and family. Hotel Isabel has been the absolute WORST in all my years of traveling around the world.

Cool hotel with beautiful decor right in the middle of town. The room was very small but clean and cute. The maid came everyday and did a great job. They will leave you bottled water and a candy each day. Nice touch. There is no fridge in room, no free breakfast or pool etc.. but pretty clean great AC near everything in town. I was happy and would definitely go back.
