"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. Other than that, the apartment was clean, everything...

A modern sauna with wooden benches and a stone wall.

Hotel Spichrz

Stare Miasto

10/10 Excellent

I am 80 years old with considerable experience of hotels and taking all aspects into account this excellent hotel is one of the very best. Taking account of value, it is the very best. This is an amazingly well designed conversion from a traditional warehouse overlooking the river to a superb hotel with modern lift and very excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to the City Centre. With the best staff you could imagine. I shall return.

Michael

A buffet with various food options and a large decorative ship model in the background.

Hotel Filmar

Torun

10/10 Excellent

Very good hotel with really nice up to high standards rooms. Great value for money, large comfortable beds and friendly and helpful stuff. Clean and extremely welcoming and enjoyable altogether. Since prices were pretty high elsewhere nearer the old town, this was the best decision we could do by staying a bit more far from the city centre. After all, we had a rental car, but even if you don’t have, it is some 20 minutes walk to the old town so not far at all. The breakfast was included in our...

Gotyk Hotel

Stare Miasto

Ideal position to visit Old Town and Copernicus House . Great restaurants near by , huge variety and reasonable on prices ( even it was start of peak season ) and close to main river Wisla with its own attractions . Felt very safe and comfortable , clean , functional , spacey room . The breakfast ( included in the price of the room ) was a legend : lots of choice , excellent quality , great presentation , constant attention of the staff and lovely breakfast room in the basement to enjoy...

John

A modern, well-lit bedroom with a sloped ceiling, a large bed, a sitting area with a table and chairs, a bathtub, and a small balcony with plants.

Hotel 1231

Stare Miasto

10/10 Excellent

The first two nights were dreadful as the room overlooked a children's play area which was a meeting place for drunken loud youths until early hours of the morning. When we moved to a room at the front we were able to sleep and began to enjoy our stay. The staff are pleasant, very helpful and accommodating. The waitress at breakfast is particularly gracious. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel is perfect for the town and river area. A...
