"The hotel staff are nice. Note that the hotel rooms open to the outside. It is two levels with no elevator. The room makes great use of space though. Ask the hotel directly about all of the taxes (there are several) & fees before booking - these are not all included in the Expedia price even though Expedia says they are. (As for the town itself, I found it to be very over-rated and the products, food & services to be low quality. You can see everything in a day or two. It is outrageously priced even for a resort town)."

"We only stayed for one night but the Pilgrim House was very impressive and will now be the only place we will stay when we go to the Cape. From reception through dinner, drinks at the upstairs bar then the evening in the downstairs piano bar, everything was absolutely first rate. It's our new favorite place to stay. Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable!"
